Word Music Publishing’s award-winning songwriters Bernie Herms and Matthew West both recently celebrated their No. 1 songs, “East To West” and “You Are Everything,” respectively.
Casting Crowns’ “East To West” (co-written by Herms) was recently named “Song of the Year” and “Pop/Contemporary Song of the Year” at the 39th Annual Dove Awards, and spent 13 weeks at No. 1 over various formats.

Matthew West celebrated his fifth No. 1 single “You Are Everything” after the hit song spent five weeks at No. 1 on CRW’s AC chart.
