exas rock band One Minute Halo recently signed with Dallas-based indie label Empiric Records and plans to release its debut album Against the Grain in early 2009. The project will have national distribution via Empiric and Universal/Fontana.

Athens, Georgia-based band Julian Drive has signed an exclusive label agreement with Inpop Records. The band will release its debut single, “From His Hands,” to AC radio June 20.
