(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Aug. 28, 2008—Dove Award-winning singer/songwriter Matthew West announces the fall 2008 “Something To Say” tour with special guest, Sparrow Records’ newest talent Josh Wilson. The tour, to be sponsored by World Vision with additional promotion from HearItFirst.com, will visit 25+ cities through the middle of November.

Just prior to recording Something to Say last year, West was diagnosed with a serious vocal chord injury that required major surgery. Following the procedure in May 2007, he entered a 2-month period of complete silence. It was during this time, while sitting in church one Sunday, that West’s pastor quoted C.S. Lewis: “God whispers to us in our pleasures, speaks in our conscience, but shouts in our pains; it is His megaphone to rouse a deaf world.” This quote so resonated with West that he made it the central theme of his latest project, released in January 2008, as well as the forthcoming tour. He comments, “God is at work in every circumstance of our lives…even the silence. He wants to take the part of our lives we consider damaged goods and turn it to good.”

In addition to great music, the tour will feature clips from, “Nothing to Say,” a DVD documenting West’s journey through surgery and recovery. Also unique to the tour is media partner HearItFirst.com, who has pledged its support through e-mail notifications to members, a site-skinning promotion, tour page, and exclusive content including video updates from the road. A current list of tour dates follows this release.

“I can’t wait for the ‘Something to Say Tour’ to begin this October,” says West. “I know many people have only heard my music on the radio, but never in a live concert setting. This fall, all that will change. My hope for this tour is that our concerts will be more than just another show, but an experience that takes the audience on a journey. We are also teaming up with World Vision to give all who attend the concerts something to say about helping children in need all over the world. I hope you won’t miss this ‘something to say’ experience!”

“World Vision is so excited to be partnering with Matthew on the ‘Something to Say’ tour,” says Ben Greene, artist representative for World Vision. “His heart and passion for the most vulnerable children of the world is contagious, and we know that all in attendance will receive an experience to remember.”

West catapulted onto the Christian music scene in 2003 with his debut single, “More,” which was the most played Christian AC song of 2004. The multi-Dove Award nominee and sought-after songwriter released two critically-acclaimed recordings, Happy (2003) and History (2005); has been a mainstay at Christian radio with memorable hits like “Only Grace,” “History” and “Next Thing You Know”; and has toured with such artists as tobyMac and Jeremy Camp on the wildly popular 2008 “Boomin Beyond Measure” tour. In addition, West has penned songs for Rascal Flatts, Billy Ray Cyrus, Natalie Grant and Mandisa, among others. West’s third studio recording, Something To Say, released January 15, 2008 and debuted on Nielsen SoundScan’s Christian Retail Chart at #10, while West was the best-selling Christian artist on iTunes the week of its release. The album’s debut single “You Are Everything” additionally peaked at No. 1 on Christian AC radio and its present single “Something to Say” is currently in the Top 10 at AC radio.
Josh Wilson is a singer-songwriter from Lubbock, TX. Growing up in the church his dad pastored, Wilson was involved from the get-go. He learned piano and guitar at a young age which allowed him to lead worship for the youth group. After high school, Wilson moved to Nashville to attend Belmont University. While at Belmont, he won the Christian Music Showcase his junior year. Some record executives from his now label, EMI - Sparrow, were in attendance and amazed at his ability to “loop” his guitar. He signed a record contract with EMI - Sparrow in June of 2006, one month after he graduated from Belmont. His major debut album is titled, Trying To Fit The Ocean In A Cup. The album’s current single “Savior, Please” went for adds at AC and CHR radio on Aug. 22.

World Vision is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.

(Nashville, Tennessee) – August 27, 2008 – Following the release of their first nationally distributed release, Wake the World (Trato Records), on August 19th, Christian pop trio BELOVED is reaching audiences nationwide and beyond through a successful media tour filled with numerous television appearances.

In the last month, BELOVED has appeared on some of Christian television’s biggest shows including Daystar Television Network’s Celebration, TCT Network’s REJOICE!, NRB Network’s Babbie’s House and Atlanta Live, FamilyNet’s Mornings with Lorri and Larry and Every Day with Marcus and Lisa, Body Builders and the popular morning show Live at 9 which airs on the CBS affiliate in Memphis, Tennessee. Additionally, the group is scheduled for upcoming appearances on The Good Life, Friends & Neighbors, CTN’s The Coffee Club, LeSEA Broadcasting’s The Harvest Show and Live From Studio B - a 30-minute live concert series taped before a studio audience.

REJOICE!

“BELOVED is a blend of harmony and humor, music and ministry delivered with a passion for Jesus and joy!” says Pastor Myles Holmes, host and producer of REJOICE! “BELOVED’s unique style will keep you laughing and learning as you relate to these women through their music, hilarious routines and real-life stories. Whether in concert, church service, women’s conference or world-wide television ministry, BELOVED is an experience and a breath of fresh air you will want to enjoy again and again.”

Babbie's House

“Not only did Beloved give a great performance, but it was evident that their ministry goes beyond the music to speak straight to the hearts of women,” says Trish Ragsdale, Executive Producer of FamilyNet’s EveryDay with Marcus and Lisa.

“BELOVED is a lot of fun,” says Lorri Allen, Producer and Host of FamilyNet’s Mornings with Lorri & Larry. “The women each have a fresh sound, a sense of humor and a heart for the Lord. We can’t wait to have them back!”

An equal mix of Point of Grace, Anita Renfroe and Bette Midler, BELOVED connects with audiences instantly through relational humor and infectious encouragement. The trio wrote 9 of the 11 tracks on Wake the World, including the first radio single, “Love God, Serve Others,” which was produced by GRAMMY® Award winner Mac Powell of Third Day. The remainder of the album was produced in Atlanta by John Carrozza (Boyz II Men, Babbie Mason).

FamilyNet Mornings

“Working with BELOVED, it is obvious to see God’s hand of encouragement extended through the lives of these wonderful women of faith,” says Brad Mathias, Vice President of Operations at Infinity Music Distribution. “The joy they sing with and the humility and transparency of their ministry translates to both men and women of every walk of life, and represents the authentic and effective music ministry that will impact homes, families and communities for Jesus Christ. It is exciting to see the launch of this ministry on the national media stage and we’re proud to partner with them in this season of their lives.”

Wake the World was released on August 19, 2008 by Trato Records and Infinity Music Distribution, a division of Central South Distribution.

Nashville, Tennessee) – August 26, 2008 – SHOUTFEST, Christian music’s most ambitious annual youth ministry driven one-day rock concert event, will have the strongest lineup in its six year tour history, with performances by such headlining artists as Third Day, Reliant K, Newsboys, Thousand Foot Krutch, Family Force 5, Sixpence None the Richer, Starfield and Trin-i-tee 5:7. More than 25 bands and solo artists will perform at one or more of the festival events unfolding on two live stages in three U.S. cities.

Other artists set to perform at one or more of the events are Grits, DecembeRadio, This Beautiful Republic, After Edmund, Jason Morant, Mission Six, Between the Trees, Nevertheless, I Am Terrified, Revive, Magellan from Club DreamLab, One Minute Halo, Say You Will, Manic Drive, British band The Steels, Gabriela Hindy, One Friday, JJ Weeks, comedian Bob Smiley, The Biggest Loser’s Dan Evans and Compassion International speaker Brad Duncan.

“SHOUTFEST is more than another Christian event or rock concert — we consider it to be a real ministry opportunity for the local church,” notes producer Van Hohe. “Our overall goal is to lose the title ‘tour’ and transform this into a tool that local churches and youth leaders can use to raise awareness and impact lives for Christ, ultimately leaving each market with a lot of young lives closer to God’s Kingdom and in a relationship with local ministries who will be there in the days and weeks following when those kids start to encounter real issues. This puts the focus where it should be — on the local church.”

SHOUTFEST has partnered with ministry sponsor Book of Hope USA who is providing concert goers a free book and online tools that give insight into overcoming the growing struggles of today’s youth. Hohe says, “Our deep relationship with Book of Hope USA and others continues to build on the concept of making this thing a tool of the local church. How many young people are literally dying inside all the while thinking that no one in their day-to-day lives could ever truly understand what they are going through? This is why I do what I do. We are here to equip the local church with relevant information and resources as well as providing a killer rock show.”

In addition to Book of Hope USA, author Renee Yohe will be at SHOUTFEST New Orleans to share her journey out of depression which has become an online sensation with the “To Write Love On Her Arms” website. Other ministry sponsors this year include global poverty relief organization Compassion International, The Conquerers and the all-new Oral Roberts University.

REMEDY DRIVE ANTICIPATES RELEASE OF DAYLIGHT IS COMING AUG.26
Band Signs Booking Agreement with William Morris Agency; Debut Video Claims No. 1 Spot on TVU

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Aug. 19, 2008—Four-brother band and new Word recording artist Remedy Drive anticipates the release of its national label debut, Daylight Is Coming, Aug. 26. In addition to finding favor with top-notch booking agency, the William Morris Agency, Remedy Drive is experiencing phenomenal feedback from fans, who voted its first music video, “Daylight,” to No. 1 on TVU’s “Most Wanted.”

After four years on the road as an independent artist, Remedy Drive will team up with renowned talent agency, the William Morris Agency. Mark Claassen, agent, comments, “We’re really excited to be teaming up with Remedy Drive! They put so much effort into their energetic show that everyone leaves excited and encouraged. After listening to the CD, seeing them perform, and hearing their hearts for music and ministry, we felt like all the elements were there for a long-term thriving career.”

And in its short time on the national Christian music scene, Remedy Drive has already proven its staying power. Last week, the band’s debut music video, “Daylight,” was voted to No. 1 on TVU, a nationwide, 24/7 music video television network. The video will additionally be available to fans across the country through Interlinc. To view the video online, visit: www.myspace.com/remedydrive.

TVU’s program director and music director Nikki Cantu remarks, “Remedy Drive hitting No. 1 on our TMW Show for TVU is no surprise to us. The viewers absolutely love the video and have fallen in love with the band!”

Produced by 2008 GMA Dove Awards Producer of the Year Ian Eskelin, Daylight Is Coming showcases Remedy Drive’s high-energy, piano-driven rock sound. The album is winning with old and new fans alike not only via exposure of its music video but also at radio, as Remedy Drive’s current single “Daylight” moves up the CHR chart.

David (vocals, keys, guitar), Philip (bass, vocals), Paul (guitar, vocals), and Daniel Zach (drums) originally began playing together in college around Lincoln, Nebraska. It wasn’t until 2003 that the band now known as Remedy Drive ventured outside its stomping grounds into territory spanning the Midwest and West Coast. In the last two years, Remedy Drive has performed more than 200 shows annually, including concerts at festivals, colleges, camps, conferences and churches. The band’s indie release, Rip Open the Skies (2005), has sold more than 20,000 copies to date.

Keeping that pace, the band recently wrapped the spring 2008 “LifeLight Tour” with Building 429 and Bread of Stone. This summer, Remedy Drive appeared at major festivals including Spirit West Coast Del Mar, Spirit West Coast Monterey, Crossover, Ichthus, and Higher Ground. The band continues on the road this month playing Lifelight, Rock the Light as well as other performances and youth camps. For more information about Remedy Drive, visit www.remedydrive.com.

Word Records is a part of Word Label Group, a division of Word Entertainment, a Warner/Curb company. The artist roster heralds some of today’s top Christian music performers and songwriters including Mark Schultz, Point Of Grace, Building 429, Nicole C. Mullen and Stellar Kart. The Word Label Group leads the industry with over 50 years of music-making history.

(Nashville, Tenn.) Aug. 18, 2008 – Singer/songwriter and New Artist of the Year Brandon Heath is at the center of the Christian music scene on the eve of his sophomore album release What If We, available tomorrow, Tuesday Aug. 19. The album single “Give Me Your Eyes” has sold more than 30,000 single downloads in the four weeks since it released digitally, holding the No. 1 spot at iTunes. At radio, the hitbound song recently landed at No. 1 on CRW’s CHR chart, and this week it jumps to No. 2 on R&R’s CHR chart, and up to No. 6 on R&R’s AC-Monitored chart, with 10 million cumulative impressions to date.

Heath will also be the topic of numerous radio morning shows and events with street week concerts in Dallas, Texas, with KLTY; Austin, Texas, with KPEZ; Houston with KSBJ; West Palm Beach, Fl. with WayFM; Tampa, Fl., with JoyFM; and New York City with Star99FM. He will wrap the week in Nashville with a hometown performance at the city’s Sounds minor league baseball game.

The new album will also be supported with a feature story in Billboard magazine, a lead cover story on Salem’s CCM Magazine.com and CMCentral, and in Heath’s upcoming TV performances on LIFE TODAY, FamilyNet’s Every Day with Marcus & Lisa, and Daystar Network’s Joni Show, Soundcheck and Celebration. Plus, Heath is Gospel Music Channel’s Listen Up campaign artist for both August and September, receiving daily on-air promotion and a TV world premiere of Heath’s new music video for “Give Me Your Eyes” on Aug. 23.

In addition to the activity surrounding Heath’s new album, his debut project Don’t Get Comfortable (2006) continues to garner attention. Recently, Lakeshore Entertainment and Lakeshore Records selected Heath’s Dove-nominated hit song “I’m Not Who I Was” for the Henry Poole is Here film soundtrack. The comedic drama, directed by Mark Pellington’s and starring Luke Wilson, is a modern-day fable investigating the unexpected wonders of the everyday. Playing now in theaters nationwide, Henry Poole is Here is produced by Lakeshore Entertainment (Untraceable, The Last Kiss, Million Dollar Baby, Wicker Park, Runaway Bride) and Camelot Pictures (Garden State). The soundtrack album, which features Brandon Heath, the Eels, The Bravery, Golden State, John Linton, Badly Drawn Boy and others, released digitally via iTunes on August 12, with the physical album release to follow.

About Brandon Heath:
Teaming up again with producer Dan Muckala, Brandon Heath’s sophomore album What If We follows his breakthrough debut project, Don’t Get Comfortable, which delivered the No. 1 radio-hit, and Song of the Year nominee, “I’m Not Who I Was.” The song ended 2007 as one of the year’s most played radio singles. The smash debut also contributed to Heath’s first Songwriter of the Year nomination, and win in the New Artist of the Year category at the 2008 GMA Dove Awards in April. Off stage, Heath seeks opportunities to merge his public platform with his heart for community, regularly working with Young Life, Blood:Water Mission, Restore International and unofficially volunteering for many other human rights agencies on a global scale. Heath has been a respected songwriter in the Nashville music community for years, collaborating with well-known artists like Bebo Norman, Matt Wertz and Dave Barnes, to name a few. The Nashville native first began writing at age 13 and credits the town’s legendary hotspot for songwriters, the Bluebird Café, as the place he first experienced music that moved him. Heath currently resides in Houston, Texas, and is a worship leader at The Loft church located in The Woodlands, just north of Houston.

(ATLANTA, GA) — Since bursting onto the scene in 2003, BELOVED has developed a reputation of being unique. So much so that the Atlanta-based group has created their own genre - women’s ministry music - which has been marketed with considerable success as “Real Music for Real Women.” With the upcoming release of their third album (and first nationally distributed release) Wake the World on August 19th, the pop trio is ready to extend their reach to America’s women… and beyond.

Defining BELOVED is not an easy task. An equal mix of Point of Grace, Anita Renfroe and Bette Midler, BELOVED writes songs that are life-applicable and relatable, connecting with an audience instantly through relational humor and infectious encouragement.

On August 19th, the day of the album’s release, the group will appear on Daystar’s popular series Celebration live from Dallas. Additional television appearances are scheduled for that week, including Live at 9 on Memphis’ CBS affiliate (Aug. 20), TCT Network’s Rejoice! (Aug. 21) and NRB Network’s Atlanta Live (Aug. 22). Earlier this month, the trio appeared on FamilyNet’s Mornings with Lorri and Larry and Every Day with Marcus and Lisa, and they are scheduled for upcoming appearances on The Good Life, Body Builders, CTN’s The Coffee Club and LeSEA Broadcasting’s The Harvest Show and Live From Studio B - a 30-minute live concert series taped before a studio audience. In addition to a busy concert schedule, BELOVED will be appearing at select LifeWay Christian Bookstore locations throughout the month of August, performing live and signing copies of Wake the World.

The group’s members are at first glace as diverse as their influences. BELOVED is comprised of former Forefront Records staffer Amy Goins, new grandmother Denise Clark and former Miss Georgia Kim Gravel, who currently juggles her roles as a new mom and recording artist with hosting duties for the popular Christian TV talk show Friends & Neighbors.

The trio stepped into the writing and recording process during a season of change, that heavily influenced the lyrical and spiritual direction of the album. Prior to recording the album, Kim gave birth to her first child, Beau Michael, and was adapting to the newness of motherhood. While Kim was experiencing being a new mom, Denise had become a new grandmother. “I love being a young grandmother,” says Denise. “I had my kids when I was young and back then I was so wrapped up in doing everything just right and making sure things were the way they ‘ought to be.’ Now I realize what really matters and I enjoy every little moment with my granddaughter.”

Amy was also experiencing a season of change, but hers was one of loss, with the passing of her mother in early 2008. “The death of my mother was particularly difficult,” remembers Amy. “Since my dad has already passed as well, I no longer have any living parents. As a single woman, that was frightening for me. Although I have been living and supporting myself for many years, I suddenly felt very alone and abandoned, in a way.”

These major life changes no doubt supplied profound inspiration for the songs that were to become Wake the World. But Denise is quick to point out that one unifying theme hasn’t changed. “The core and heartbeat of this project, and this group, is Jesus,” explains Denise. “We never want to assume that the person listening to our music already knows and has a relationship with Jesus. The one constant message in all of our songs is that Jesus is the only way to have eternal salvation and a joyful abundant life here on this earth. Everything else can change, but that must stay the same.”

“Lyrically we wanted to challenge ourselves and our listeners to get out there and live the life God intended for us,” states Kim. “It seems to be such a simple message but it’s one that a lot of people have a hard time grasping and actually living out, day to day.”

The first track “I Dare You” challenges listeners and drives the point home. “One of my greatest pleasures in life is encouraging people and helping them to accomplish their goals and dreams,” explains Kim. “I was raised by parents that taught me from a very young age that through Christ, I could do anything I set my mind to. I have realized that not everyone was raised that way so anytime I can, I try to get that message out there. Without Christ, I am nothing, but with Him I am everything.”

The title song “Wake the World” was inspired by the missions program of Cross Pointe Church where Kim and Amy are members. “Missions is not only going across the world, it’s going across the street, or even just across the hall,” says Amy. “It’s merely about opening our eyes, looking around to see a need and meeting that need.”

Cross Pointe Church also inspired the Mac Powell produced “Love God, Serve Others.” “That is our church’s mission statement, and I love it because it is so concise, direct and to the point,” says Kim. “If we would just focus on those three things, love God, serve others and share your story, everything else would just fall in line.”

Proverbs 13:12 and the story of Rachel in Genesis 30 was the inspiration for “Hope Deferred”. Amy explains, “I am by nature and environment a reserved person. It is difficult for me to ‘put it all out there.’ But I knew, I could feel God calling me to be more honest and transparent with what was deep inside me.”

“Jehovah-Jireh” was born out of a miraculous healing of Denise’s husband. “In 2005, my husband Brian was very ill in the hospital,” she explains. “He was only 12 hours away from a major surgery to have his colon removed. The doctor came in to check on him and decided to run a test one last time before the surgery. Miraculously the test came back as if nothing was wrong so they did not do the surgery. That experience made God, and all the different qualities of Him, come alive to me.”

“BELOVED is a group that definitely doesn’t take ourselves too seriously,” says Goins. “We love to laugh and poke fun at ourselves. Even our CD cover is intentionally over the top, kind of ‘tongue in cheek’ in a way.”

“If I can’t look like that in real life, I am going to look like that in print!” adds Gravel. “We have found that by using a mix of humor and music, it creates an ideal atmosphere for people to relax and let their guard down. It softens hearts so that God can speak and work in lives.”

Wake the World will be released on August 19, 2008 by Trato Records and Infinity Music Distribution, a division of Central South Distribution.

Nashville, Tenn., August 18, 2008 – Phoenix-based singer/songwriter Kelly Mack releases her national debut album, Take Me With You, Oct. 14, 2008, on VSR Music Group and with EMI-CMG Distribution. Kelly’s songs and soft, engaging voice have been compared to such musical icons as Sarah McLachlan, Dido and Enya.

Produced by industry veteran Ken Mary (The Beach Boys, Trik Turner, LaRue, Alice Cooper) and mixed by GRAMMY winning mixer/ recording engineer J.R. McNeely (Jeremy Camp, Relient K, Kutless), Take Me With You offers its listener a combination of honest lyrics and ambient, thoughtful pop music.

“An incredibly gifted singer and songwriter, Kelly combines music straight from the heart with a beautiful vocal performance on each track,” says CMSpin. “An honest and touching album, Take Me With You is a work of art that is layered in personal experience far beyond her years.”

Radio stations across the country are also offering their applause for Kelly Mack’s music as her first radio single from Take Me With You, “The Only One,” is gaining momentum nationally.

“Kelly Mack’s ‘The Only One’ is bare and honest with a major league sound, reminiscent of A Fine Frenzy,” says Doug Moore, WFRN-FM (Elkhart, IN) program director. “It’s great to have this sound available to our listeners – it really fills out the musical mainstreaming trend that Bebo Norman, Brandon Heath and others are continuing to accelerate in CCM.”

“‘The Only One’ reminds us of our constant, daily battle of self-discovery and human nature,” says Mack. “God loves our gift of worship. It isn’t just us laying our hearts out before Him, but it’s also a way for God to reveal His own heart toward us. Each of the songs on this album describes something intimate and personal that He has shown me.”

Mack explains, “The themes of most of these songs come directly from the Psalms. They are my

interpretations and thoughts of the promises and character of God.”

In addition to the music, Mack also shares in her concerts about her mission to help women break free from the sex trade through the Hand and Cloth ministry that seeks to empower women to new lives through creative enterprise, vocational training and the transforming love of Jesus Christ (www.handandcloth.org). Among its work, Hand and Cloth employs women to create kantha dorokha, a traditional two-sided quilt made from recycled sari material.

“A missionary friend of mine sent me one of the quilts made in Calcutta [India] through the Hand and Cloth ministry as a wedding gift,” recalls Mack. “I loved the story behind it and wanted to help in any way that I could. My involvement now is to purchase the quilts a couple at a time and bring them with me to my concerts. I help sell them and give a little talk about the blankets during the live show.

“The songs on the new album are all my interpretations of God’s personality, and a large part of that is loving and encouraging others. So I think that the songs from the album, and worship songs in general are heavily linked to programs and service like Hand and Cloth.”

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) August 12, 2008 – Sparrow Records Dove Award-winning modern rock band Starfield from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, has gained quite a following here in the U.S. Even so, this year’s recipient of the Gospel Music Association’s International Award takes its show overseas to share its music and message with fans in Europe and the UK.

This month Starfield makes appearances in the United Kingdom and Europe, taking part in seven festivals including Flevo, Soul Survivor and Greenbelt. Starfield first performed for fans in Sweden at the Frizon Festival and headlined a show in Biel, Switzerland. Between performances at the UK’s Soul Survivor on August 13 and 18, the band will entertain audiences at Flevo in the Netherlands on August 14, Revo Fest in Germany on August 15 and Fuel Festival in Belfast, Ireland August 16. Before returning to North America, Starfield plays main stage at the Greenbelt Festival on August 22. In addition, the band is already confirmed to headline Scotland’s Frenzy Festival in June 2009.

Starfield also played the Netherlands’ EO Youth Day in June. Says EO Youth Day Music Director Tim Dik, “I was very excited that Starfield would be playing EO Youth Day 2008. I saw the band several times in the U.S., and I knew immediately I had to invite them to the Netherlands. I was convinced that their great live performance and powerful worship songs would match perfectly with all the other things happening that day. With 30,000 visitors, EO Youth Day is Europe’s largest Christian youth event and is broadcast live on national television. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us.”

The band’s busy summer came on the heels of a spring tour in native Canada. The tour sold 18,000 tickets in just 16 cities with the largest sold-out show in Toronto welcoming 2,000 fans. Starfield will visit 12 Canadian cities again this September alongside Will Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Returning to the States this fall, Starfield will be joined by new Sparrow Records artist Above the Golden State for a 35-city tour in October and November. Crisscrossing the country, the tour will kick off in Sacramento, Calif., work its way to New York City and finish in Seattle.
